Privacy Policy

Ichikawa Rose Garden Co., Ltd. ("Ichikawa") collects names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc. from customers ("Personal Information"). Ichikawa has published the following Privacy Policy in response to the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan.

(Intended Purpose)

Article 1 Ichikawa uses Personal Information for the purposes detailed below.

1. Ichikawa collects customer name, address, telephone number, and other contact information for the purpose of shipping products and sending invoices. Ichikawa may also collect and use customer credit card, bank account, or other payment information for processing customer payments.

2. Ichikawa collects customer name, address, email address, other contact information, order details, and billing information to confirm order details and shipping information, etc.

3. Ichikawa collects customer usage history, customer information, address, email address, and other contact information to provide customers with special announcements, new product information, new services, etc.。

4. Ichikawa may ask for customer feedback or conduct surveys, the results of which may be used in conjunction with customer purchase history. These activities are for the purpose of improving Ichikawa products and services.

5. Ichikawa may collect and use customer name, address, email address, and other contact information for the purpose of responding to customer requests or inquiries.


(Personal Information Management)

Article 2 The Ichikawa system for managing Personal Information is as described below.

1. Ichikawa has constructed an appropriate system of Personal Information management under the provisions and guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Act. Ichikawa employees sign agreements stating that they understand the proper handling of Personal Information.

2. Ichikawa limits access to Personal Information to only those employees who require access for performing necessary work. Ichikawa has created rules for handling media containing Personal Information, and has constructed rules and systems to protect the same.

3. Personal Information stored on computer systems are protected by a system comprised of user names and passwords. These user names and passwords are available only to those employees who require access for the purpose of performing necessary work. Ichikawa has instituted a strict system of rules and oversight to prevent user name/password disclosure or loss.

4. Ichikawa shall periodically delete Personal Information after a certain time limit, provided such deletion does not interfere with Ichikawa's ability to offer products and services.


(Third Parties)）

Article 3　Ichikawa shall not provide Personal Information to any third parties without first receiving permission by the person in question, except where otherwise allowed or provided for in the Personal Information Protection Act and/or related laws.

Ichikawa may share Personal Information with shipping companies or other contractors as necessary for the purposes of shipping product orders and/or conducting business with the customer. In such situations, these parties are not considered third parties for the purpose of these policies.


(Personal Information Disclosure)

Article 4　Ichikawa shall not disclose Personal Information to any third party without first receiving permission from the customer in question. Notwithstanding, Ichikawa may provide Personal Information to third parties under the following conditions.

1. When required under law by courts, police, or other public authorities

2. When provided specifically by law.

3. When such disclosure is a matter of customer or third party life or death, physical harm, or loss of property, and the individual is not available to request permission.

4. When acts in violation of the law or Ichikawa usage policies/precautions require Ichikawa to act to protect its rights, assets, or services, and the individual is not available to request permission.

5. Requests by customers to disclose their Personal Information will be granted only upon positively confirming the identity of the requestor.。
